The Dub Organiser – Original And Vintage Dubs From The A-Class Studio
Fashion Records’ legendary A-Class Studio trace its origins back to 1979, when Chris Lane installed a disc-cutting lathe in his flat. Initially, it was used to cut dubs for his own early productions and for tracks brought in by local sound systems.
The featured musicians include Angus "Drummie Zeb" Gaye (Aswad), Ian "Spy" Austin, and Reg Graham (The Investigators). The brass arrangements are provided by The Massive Horns—a Fashion Records production alias for the section comprising Annie Whitehead, Barbara Snow, Roddy Lorimer, and Tim Sanders
